On this podcast Benson focused on a genre yet to be addressed on Mixtape Songs: Hip-Hop. You’ll be hearing straight up, head bopping hip-hop, the way it was intended to be. No lyrics about making money, rolling on Spinnaz, or bustin’ caps… just keepin’ it real.
If the songs heard in this week’s podcast were more available during the 1990’s, would current mainstream hip-hop still be overrun by bling-blingers and cellphone-ringaz?
