Back in the summers of ’04 and ’05, four like-minded individuals quit their day jobs in Kelowna and their school lives in Victoria for a more nomadic lifestyle. They left their families and friends behind to ride the rails and sip their pork and beans by the campfire lit moon. Mack Gordon and Danny Marshall kept the rhythm section chugging like that old steam train on the bass and drums respectively. Dave Shortreed hummed along harmonicaesque on the organ while Tom Ulm skiffled his way over lyrics and strummed his burden across the guitar.
